Ithaca 1960

I don’t own any Ithaca firearms, but the spirit of this old ad spoke to me. There are only so many days and when you get one you can spend in the woods, it is a gift.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

  1. Great one, but all I could see was what the LWL would be bitching about… he's smoking (bad), the dog is not properly leashed, OMG there is a house back there- he's going to kill somebody in that house… etc., etc.

  2. He might. It's a real gun. That's what freedom means. It's all about trust and responsibility.

Go to an active shooting range for an IDPA or USPSA match. We are all armed, all carrying bags with hundreds of rounds of ammo each. Personal responsibility and group trust.
